A single new case of COVID-19 was reported on Tuesday after Malta celebrated having no new cases on Monday.
The health authorities said 1,432 swab tests were made over the past 24 hours
Three patients recovered and the number of active cases went down to 70.

Two new COVID-19 cases and four recoveries have been registered overnight.
The number of active cases is now 74.
The new cases were found from 2,545 swab tests carried out overnight, according to data from the health authorities.
No deaths have been reported for over a week.

Eight people tested positive for COVID-19 overnight as Malta officially restarted its tourism season on Tuesday.
This is the highest number of new cases the country has recorded since May 10.
